Chris Parks grew up in Houston and received his B.S. in Political Science from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. After receiving his undergraduate degree, Chris graduated from The University of Texas Law School with honors and at the top of his class. He became a member of the Order of the Coif. During law school, Chris was the winner of St. Mary’s University School of Law 1st Year Moot Court competition and was selected as “Best Speaker” by a panel of the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Chris also interned with the Travis County District Attorney’s Office in the 167th District Court. While at the Travis County District Attorney’s Office, he assisted with various proceedings from murder and capital murder trials to search and seizure issues and indictments.

After becoming licensed by the State Bar of Texas, Chris served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office in Houston. While an Assistant District Attorney, he prosecuted a wide variety of misdemeanor and felony cases in County Criminal Courts and District Courts, from grand jury indictment through jury trial. Chris left the Harris County District Attorney’s Office as a felony prosecutor and now represents people charged with a wide range of criminal offenses from misdemeanors to high level felonies.
